Accept that Disasters can Affect YOU

In some cases, near instantly:
  • Injuries, minor and severe
  • Separation from loved ones
  • Unprepared to evacuate by auto
  • Unprepared to evacuate on foot
  • Loss of utilities that are fundamental to our way of life.
  • Your home suddenly uninhabitable for the short or long-term, rendering you immediately homeless
  • Loss of income for the short or long-term.
  • Left behind
  • A fatality in your household

Accept that you have the power to prevent, avoid, reduce and mitigate some of the above by Preparation & Planning in advance.

Accept that you have the responsibility to take those steps.  You can help yourself, family, community, and the colleagues with whom you share a work place.

Peruse articles on this BLOG to get some help in sensible Preparation & Planning.
